Mayo es un mes especial en el que celebramos un año de trabajo y arte a pesar de la cuarentena y los problemas que ahogan de manera sistemática al país.
Después de un primer intento fallido de taller escuela, nace Acción Cerámica CCS en Mayo del 2019. Laura, Victoria y yo nos conocimos en Barro Creativo donde trabajamos juntas por algunos meses. Tras el cierre del espacio, decidimos unir fuerzas y seguir trabajando por un tiempo en un pequeño espacio en casa de Laura. Allí, luego de algunas reuniones y con apoyo de nuestros adorados compañeros, tomamos el valor para iniciar un nuevo proyecto. Buscamos un espacio, construimos, remodelamos y logramos abrir el taller.
Han sido innumerables las personas que hemos conocido, nos han acompañado y aún nos acompañan en el taller. Es un placer enriquecedor poder compartir conocimientos y procesos creativos con niños, actores de distintas áreas, artistas, familia y amigos así como contribuir y hacer realidad los proyectos e ideas de distintos emprendedores venezolanos.
Personalmente sigo aprendiendo y sigo agradecida de lograr este espacio en momentos tan difíciles como los que nos ha tocado vivir a los venezolanos, aprecio profundamente poder disfrutar cada segundo de mi taller y sus posibilidades infinitas. Pronto nos veremos de nuevo, en persona y con abrazos llenos de cariño como siempre <3

May is a special month in which we celebrate despite the quarantine and the problems that systematically drown the country. After a first failed attempt at a school workshop, Acción Cerámica CCS was born in May 2019. Laura, Victoria and I met at Barro Creativo where we worked together for a few months.
After the place closed, we decided to join forces and continue working for a time in a small space at Laura's house. There, after some meetings and with the support of our beloved colleagues, we took the courage to start a new project. We looked for a space, we built, remodeled and managed to open the workshop.
There have been countless people that we have met, whom have accompanied us and still stay with us at the studio. It is an enriching pleasure to be able to share knowledge and creative processes with children, actors from different areas, artists, family and friends as well as to contribute and make reality the projects and ideas of different Venezuelan entrepreneurs.
Personally I continue learning and I am grateful to achieve this space in moments as difficult as those that Venezuelans have had to live, I deeply appreciate being able to enjoy every second of my workshop and its infinite possibilities. We will see each other again soon, in person and with hugs full of affection as always <3
